Over Memorial Day weekend, my grandfather was laid to rest. A very sad day for me and my family. I was proud that we were able to give him a Military Honors burial where the military played "Taps" on the trumpet and folded the flag. I have more respect for our military than I ever have before. My grandfather served in World War 2 and even after all these years, they still honored him today. It was a Memorial Day I will never forget.

Some of you might wonder why I even mentioned this in my blog..well...to be honest, I don't know. Maybe in some way it helps to share with others??? When I figure it out, I'll let you know.
