BHLDN Bow Heels & Zara Jumpsuit

What a week! This week I have been cleaning out my grandfather's house since he recently passed and it is so hard! Its funny the little things such as a shirt, a watch or even an old blanket can bring back so many memories. Going through the closets and the shirts that still smell like his favorite cologne, packing them into a sack to be donated, leaves me with such an empty feeling. After days of cleaning I couldn't help to wonder, what items of mine will trigger my kids memories?

Anyway, jumpsuits...are they a yes or no for you? They usually are a no for me just for the reason that I have a long torso but also..if you are going out for a long period of time and you have on a jumpsuit, how the heck do you go to the bathroom?? Get naked? I don't know why that is weird to me..it just is. So this little number from Zara, I liked because it is loose fitting and doesn't ride up (if you know what I mean). Having said that, I must admit, I didn't wear it long because it seems like a pain to get in and out of.
Thoughts?

  1. Jumpsuits and rompers for me..... that's a tricky one for me. I'm quite voluptuous on my thighs so I fear riding up. All jumpsuits I've tried on seem to look weird on me, well... I take that back, I found one at Anthropologie that fit perfectly... I was amazed! I find that I prefer the way it looks on me with heels and not flats.

  2. I got carried away with my answer that I forgot to add that I truly love this jumpsuit on you. Especially the color and the yellow shoes is a perfect match.

  6. I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather's passing, but as others have already said, I think a jumper is actually pretty fun.

I think it all depends on the fabric and cut. I've been looking for a jumper with long, flowing pant legs and a fitted bustier. I tried one on a while back and regret not getting it then. :/

I also just did a post, too, on rompers, which are similar except I think they work best in less heavy fabrics.
