Vintage Tees & Vintage Necklaces

I have always been a fan of rocker tees or vintage tees, in fact, I have started collecting them and buy one when I go to a concert. I also have been going through some boxes after we cleaned out our storage unit and found some boxes of my mother's stuff. Most of it is old clothes and some random medical supplies from when she was sick, but I did find a box that had a bunch of her shoes and her jewelry from when she was younger. Even though it's hard to go through, it's also really cool to see what her style was like and realizing that we actually have the same style, in some ways.
I remember when I was a small child, I used to think that my mother had horrible taste. She always stood out from the other plain mothers and for some reason I thought it was odd, but now when I look back, I think differently.
This necklace was one of my mother's that actually got passed around between my grandmother and my mother. My mother bought it and my grandmother loved it so much that whenever my mother wanted money to go out with her friends, my grandmother would use it as collateral until my mother paid her back. I just think that's funny, that the two most important women in my life, both loved this piece so much. I think of that story often.

So anyway, vintage pieces...that's where I was going with this story, are not only fun to find, but are fun to wear, knowing your piece is unique and has a story of it's own.

Here are some of my favorite vintage finds...

Vintage tees...I may have to snag one of the Linkin Park tees, they were one of my favorite bands and they are always on my playlist for the day. Miss you Chester Bennington, you were amazing!

Thank you for reading!
