D.I.Y Rossette

I am always a fan of quick, D.I.Y projects and I thought I would give this one a try and I liked how it turned out and wanted to share.

First, you need to cut out a circle of some type of sturdy cardboard or poster paper. Next, you need to find the paper you want to use for this project, I wanted a neutral, vintage look, so I used the pages out of an old book I bought at a second hand store. I always thought a girly book, with flower pictures and bright colors, would look cute in a little girls room, but since my girl is too old for that cutesy stuff, this will have to go in the den.

All you need is some tape to secure the sides when you fold them in.

Continue to add the petals all the way around the circle, then start filling them in how ever you want and secure the petals with tape, (you will need a lot of tape!).

Finally, add some tissue paper of any color, in the center. I secured mine with more tape and added some yarn on the back, so that it would hang on the wall.

Give it a try and let me know what you think!
Thank you for reading!
