I think these hand painted pictures are so pretty and I have wondered before how interesting it would be to find out who the "Thelma" is who signed these.
This door knocker isn't vintage and truth be told, I wish it was bigger since our front door is so huge, but I liked the aged gold tone, it matches our door knob. What my husband and I laugh about is that, no one seems to figure out it's a door knocker when they come to the door.
This was the lamp that my grandfather had in his room. It may be a little too much for some people, but when I see it, I think of my grandfather and our conversations we had in his room where this lamp used to live.
This little blue bird picture, was one of the last things my mother gave me before she died. She loved blue birds..
I know I have said it before, but I really love finding vintage touches to add little unique touches to my home. The chipped frames, faded colors and the uniqueness it brings to a room, just makes me smile.
